Went on Bus early. 

 Found ATM that would give me money, went shopping at Carrefour, still could not find clippers, saw coffee & then plunger at supermarket close by.  Found Butter, stoked.

Ate Lunch & Dinner @ cafeteria twice, 1 of the dishes were a miss the Tofu seems OK.  Went for walk around “Back Alley”, it's starting to pick up now.  Also wrote Email to friends and sent.  Had quick MSN Chat with Sis, then also looked up Dave's ESL Cafe on net.  

Computer still very slow.  Plan to do a bit more exploring tomorrow and try to find clippers want to stop at park were saw a bunch of people doing some sort of Tai Chi but, hoping they are there tomorrow. 

Purchased JD for 195 Yuan so 1 a month i think.  Restrict to free night.

Almost forgot to write.  

Still have not registered yet with the Government. 

 [insert name] says we will do on Monday.

Went Shopping with [insert name].  He showed me the 

583 (五八三) Bus route and the stops.  

Cute little kid came up and talked in English to me at the shopping Centre.  Purchased Frypan & Toaster 100 Yuan short, [insert name] lent me some.  Cards did not work at bank.  Came back and not enough fund, hope they work tomorrow as have about 17 yuan left.

Talked to Mum and Sis with MSN over net.  So its like im away but not.  

Days are still hot and humid and this computer is really slow i just need one with more than 128 mb RAM and  1.63 mHz Processor speed. I already have the external Memory,will look at that next month with the first pay and go with students to “Computerworld”

Went Shopping, bought food. New bed sheets, Kettle and food.  

Had my first “Back Alley” food.  Potatoes were great.  Bread was awesome.  Hot and sweaty in the “stove” of Wuhan.  

[inert name] showed me a little around the School.  

Hooked up Internet, paid 70 Yuan for the last 7 days of one month so i could download software.  Computer OK, bit slow, Changed Places.  Paid for next month as well.  Did some washing and went for a walk.  

Have not reported to Govt yet but Anne tried, will do tomorrow at 9.  Will be teaching 21 hours instead of 16.  I am OK with it, will be fun, not much in way of helping so will be doing alot of prep over the next week.

I'm in China. Wuhan. Early Wake up. Sleep on plane not enough. No DVD in Apartment, no linen. Internet Access not connected. 

[insert name] picked me up at the airport and drove to apartments. [insert name] very nice and the water bottle situation was funny.

Its very hot and humid. Someone is playing a flute in the background. Phone works over here. Messaged mum and sis. No Towels had to buy some. Many things to do tomorrow. Have not unpacked will do that latter. Have not had health check, plus i no one checked my bags at the airport, i declared everything.

Toilet is funny does not flush properly.  Shower is in the toilet/bathroom area and is classical.  

Out of cigarettes so now Marlboro will do.

Computer not that good and afraid will need to buy new one

Sometime: somewhere: In a Plane flying to Hong Kong.  Stay night.  Fly to Wuhan.  Go to School. 

 

TEACH ENGLISH.  FREAKING OUT.  

Enjoying freedom. worried about school, health test, Contract & Government .  Enjoyed Bomb Test kit on way out of Australia. Go the Mohamed Passport.  Virgin Flight Good.  Read some Mandarin Book.  Watched Shrek III, Started 28 weeks, Could not finish.  Food Good.  Listening to Pink.  

Wishing had have bought camera.  Will buy one in HK.



I know i expect a lot from myself but then if i don't who will?  My Challenge is self discipline and balancing.  I must work on these while in China.  Learn from them and teach what i can.  Experience, live, maybe love, just remember to have fun and be you the one you never let those ever see as they already had perceptions of who or what i am.  These people from now on are “clean slated”. meeting me for me.  

Will attempt one page real life summary on this Journal each day. Hanging for a smoke.
